ÓTuama Tours Ireland

O'Tuama Tours operates Ireland's first water buffalo dairy farm, located in Cill na Martra, Co. Cork, within the Gaeltacht Mhúscraí region. Established in 2009 with an initial herd of 31 buffalo, the farm has since grown to more than 850 animals, making it the country's leading water buffalo dairy operation.

The business is family-run and led by Dorothy Ó Tuama, a local chef who serves as host and guide for all farm tours. Visitors are taken through the day-to-day workings of the farm, including how the herd is managed and how milk from the buffalo is transformed into Macroom Buffalo Mozzarella, a cheese that has gained national recognition in Ireland.

O'Tuama Tours offers several types of visits, including private guided tours, educational programmes for second and third-level students, and an extended tasting experience called "All Good Things." Each tour concludes with a tasting of the farm's dairy products.
